Gemstone characteristics: Type: Natural gemstone - garnet. Country of origin: Madagascar. Carat weight: 41 pcs of garnets with total carat weight ca. 435.52 ct. Round, ball cut, smooth, diameter 10 mm. Color: Very dark red, translucent, characteristics garnet color. Clarity: SI2 - occasional visible inner characteristic fracture lines which confirms the authenticity of a gemstones and do not affect the rigidity. Luster: Excellent. Hardness: 6.5 - 7.5 Mohs. Specific gravity: 3.55 - 4.33. Refractive index: 1.730 - 1.895.

The necklace is created by knotting on the genuine classic red silk cord with high rigidity (double knotting). Knotting is terminated by a visible extra-strength dual knots after the two last beads - near the fastening system (where it is not visible when worn). Double knots are also additionally insured against untying by means of a goldsmith adhesive. Garnet beads are separated from each other with small, genuine, solid 9K yellow gold balls. Enclosure is made of genuine, solid 9K yellow gold. Enclosure is with additional security hook, which prevents loosing of necklace in case of accidental opening of an enclosure.
